Read grew up steeped in the music scene of Austin, Texas and has been writing songs since he was 14. His songs combine traditional storytelling with abstract imagery and warm, sweeping acoustic textures that invite listeners into melancholy, introspective landscapes. He currently lives in Missoula where he spends his time writing, performing, and collaborating with other musicians as much as possible.
